Healing Connections is a multidisciplinary private practice clinic which includes psychologists, a licensed social worker, nurse practitioners, marriage and family therapists, and licensed professional counselors. We specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and are DBT certified by the state of Minnesota. We offer a comprehensive DBT program which includes individual therapy, skills groups, skills coaching and consultation. In addition, we provide individual, marriage and family therapy, medication management, and an Intensive Outpatient Program.
At present, we are seeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner who is licensed in the State of Minnesota, or able to be licensed in MN, and able to accept third party reimbursements. Prescriptive authority is required. Knowledge and practice of DBT would be beneficial, however as a training facility we would assist the individual in gaining competence in this area.

Experienced independently licensed psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who is knowledgeable of and competent in the treatment of individuals who are appropriate for this site and its programming. The position has independent responsibility and accountability in clinical decision-making, performing the duties of a Nurse Practitioner. This person will provide pharmaceutical therapy that is consistent with the evaluation, monitoring of pharmaceutical interventions and education to the client about interventions and treatment options. This person is responsible for the care of clients, educating clients in appropriate materials, and coordination of care with other treating professionals. This person will demonstrate additional abilities to develop and implement new programming, develop research or assist in the development of a program in some other measurable manner.
Implements treatment and interventions reflective of identified client needs.
Prescribe pharmaceutical therapy consistent with medical evaluation, treatment plan and current standards of practice.
Perform or request special diagnostic and laboratory tests, and interpret test results.
Maintains client records in accordance with policy requirements.
Attends clinical and ethical consultation meetings.
Provides service that is reflective of the needs of the program
Attends professional in-house training
Participates in peer review process
Submits all records for billing in a timely manner.
Coordinates care with both in-house and outside treating professionals.
Licensed in the state of Minnesota or able to be licensed in the state of Minnesota
Ability to be credentialed with third party payers
Prescriptive Authority and valid Drug Enforcement Agency number
Knowledge commensurate with job description and programming needs
Additional Salary Information: Salary is based on percentage of revenue received
