St. Luke’s is looking for a System Nursing and Patient Care Services Project Manager to join us in our strategy to be the community’s trusted partner in providing exceptional, patient- centered care. This role will plan, execute and deliver complex, high-risk and highly specialized strategic and tactical projects focused on the standardization of system nursing practice. This individual will be responsible for oversight and execution through all phases of project initiation, planning, delivery and closure functioning as the primary point of contact for those projects. Future projects including but not limited to managing the multi-year capital plan for clinical equipment and standardization (patient lifts, cardiac monitoring, etc.), clinical mobile device implementation, System Interdisciplinary Practice Council leader and management of 13 affinity groups. This role will report directly to the System CNO/VP of Patient Care Services.
Utilize SLHS- standard project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects and programs are delivered on time, within budget, and meet customer expectations.
Delivers larger scale complex strategic and tactical projects and programs using SLHS standard project methodologies, templates and expectations
Defines project/program scope, objectives, governance structure, identifies quantifies, gains approval for and communicates scope, schedule and budget.
Partners with project business sponsor and executive sponsor for decisions on all aspects of planning, deliver and closer for projects/subprojects.
Assembles project teams and manages resource allocation and day-to-day operations of the project. Mentors and coaches other project managers, works in partnership with business or operational sponsors and executive sponsors to lead projects and programs.
Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking, analysis and reporting status to project/program stakeholders.
Implements effective project/program communications and effective change management through project/program lifecycle.
Collaborates with EPMO and other SLHS departments to implement policies, practices and procedures that have a significant impact on the department and SLHS.
Acting member on the CNO Council
Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Project Management Professional (PMP) credential through the Project Management Institute
6 years’ experience
Experience with EPIC is strongly preferred
