We currently have positions available for Maintenance Engineer at Del Amo Hospital. Del Amo Hospital is a 166-bed behavioral health facility that is located in the South Bay area of Los Angeles.

This position performs a variety of services in and around the Hospital in the areas of Plant Operations, environmental services, assisting the Director of Plant Operations, contractors and vendors in completing their tasks. Responsibilities include but not limited to repair and maintenance of clinical, mechanical equipment and information systems.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assists in the implementation of a planned maintenance program on all facility equipment by performing preventative maintenance tasks, maintaining required documentation, and assisting with biomedication scheduling and repairing breakdowns.
Inspects and maintains documentation of sprinkler valves, fire doors, fire alarms and smoke detectors.
Inspects equipment and adjust functional parts and control instruments and structural parts as required.
Always informs department manager of scheduled shutdowns or interruptions of service 24 hours prior to shut down.
Maintains compliance with The Joint Commission and other regulatory standards.
Always disposes of hazardous material according to proper policy guidelines.
