Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital is an 86 bed inpatient psychiatric hospital in Panama City, Florida which provides treatment options to children, adolescents, adults, active duty service members and their families, and Veterans. The Cook is responsible for maintaining principles of proper food production and other related activities.Â Prepares and cooks foods according to menu; confers with supervisors as to use of leftovers; making menu changes, as necessary. Â Works together with the employees of the department to provide optimal food, nutritional and environmental services to the patients, visitors, and staff to ensure the healing and well-being of each individual.

Maintains high standards of food handling and cleanlinessÂ
Uses cook, chill or conventional cooking methods to prepare quality foods in sufficient quantities for customers
Adheres to standardization of recipes and portion control to prevent food waste and control cost.
