Rockford Center is Delawareâ€™s first private psychiatric facility and remains a leader in providing behavioral health care services and continues its commitment to providing quality health care.Â Rockford Center, a 138-bed acute psychiatric hospital continues to provide a full continuum of behavioral health services to geriatrics, adults, adolescents, and children.
The Admissions Team Leader will assess the needs of walk-ins and phone callers, ensure their referral to the service or resource that best addresses their needs and coordinate duties and needs of the evening shift in the Assessment Referral Center.
Key Responsibilities include:
Respond to telephone and face-to-face inquiries seeking mental health care or information about mental health related services.Â Facilitate callers to optimal level of care or resources.
Conduct clinical assessments utilizing appropriate forms and in a timely manner.
Document calls and related information on Intake Call form and enter data.
Collaborate with house supervisor and hospital administrators in making leadership decisions for the best interest in the facility and its operations.
Coordinate, prioritize and distribute duties of assessment counselors.
Oversee the work flow as produced by assessment counselors.
Collaborate with nursing supervisor to manage bed movements.
