The Director of Clinical Assessment Center is responsible for 24-hour management and supervision of the Clinical Assessment Center, which includes phone coverage and face-to-face evaluations with all patients. The Clinical Assessment Center Director is responsible for ensuring efficient and appropriate responses to all PIW inquiries. The CAC Director is responsible for ensuring all CAC staff members are fully trained and competent in customer service philosophies. The Director is responsible for the quality of care rendered by the Clinical Assessment Center Counselors, and for system development and interdepartmental negotiations that impact on the evaluation and disposition process. The CAC Director sets the departmental tone for patient advocacy, referral source satisfaction, and referral development. In collaboration with the Director of Community Relations, the CAC Director assesses, develops, implements, and evaluates the service, goals, objectives, and intervention process of the Clinical Assessment Center.
