RECEPTIONIST WEEKENDS- PER DIEM Centennial Peaks Hospital is a 104 bed hospital located in beautiful Louisville, CO. We are dedicated to providing a full range of mental health and chemical dependency services to the state of Colorado. We strive to enhance the mental health, safety and well-being of our patients, their families, and the community at large by providing ethical, compassionate, medically and psychologically integrated inpatient and intensive outpatient treatment for psychiatric and addiction disorders. The ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced environment is critical. We currently have an opening for a per diem receptionist! The schedule for this position will be 7am-4pm, 4pm-9pm and/or weekends. Duties include: Answering heavy trafficked switchboard. Forwards calls to proper person or extension with minimal delay. Greets visitors, establishes who they are to see by coordinating with counselors, nurses station, doctors, and other staff. Works directly with Intake to ensure that intake and inquiry calls get immediate attention, as well as emergency admissions. Pages for emergency situations such as codes for medical emergencies, fire, etc. Receives deliveries Sells meal tickets to staff and guests, record sale of tickets, and sends daily reconciliation to the Business Office. Ensures that all outgoing priority packages are picked up before the end of shift. Maintains operation by remote switch of security door from lobby to operator/receptionist area. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Previous experience with telephone switchboard systems preferred. Previous experience in hospital/clinic environment. Knowledge: Excellent telephone etiquette and tact; pleasant and audible speech, with good enunciation; flexibility; ability to interact effectively with persons of widely diverse roles, backgrounds, cultures, and socio-economic classes, those in crises or resistant or negative toward organization; ability to remain seated at switchboard for long periods of time without significant discomfort or distress.
