Exciting Opportunity for a Newborn Hospitalist MEDNAX is seeking a BC/BE pediatrician to join our practice as a newborn hospitalist with our busy and growing Normal Newborn Hospitalist Program in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. - Well-established, well respected group of 7 neonatologists and newborn hospitalists
- Responsibilities include 12-hour shifts of newborn nursery coverage, rotating between 3 hospitals in the greater metro area with 6,500 combined deliveries
- NICU and newborn services provide training for the Great Plains Family Practice Residency Program
- No ER call, night call or clinic responsibilities
- Attendance at deliveries is not mandatory
- Be able to perform circumcision and frenotomy
- Assist in developing and implementing clinical guidelines, protocols and policies for the Mother-Baby Units or the Normal Newborn Nurseries
