Exciting Opportunity for a Newborn Hospitalist

MEDNAX is seeking a BC/BE pediatrician to join our practice as a newborn hospitalist with our busy and growing Normal Newborn Hospitalist Program in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

• Well-established, well respected group of 7 neonatologists and newborn hospitalists
• Responsibilities include 12-hour shifts of newborn nursery coverage, rotating between 3 hospitals in the greater metro area with 6,500 combined deliveries
• NICU and newborn services provide training for the Great Plains Family Practice Residency Program
• No ER call, night call or clinic responsibilities
• Attendance at deliveries is not mandatory
• Be able to perform circumcision and frenotomy
• Assist in developing and implementing clinical guidelines, protocols and policies for the Mother-Baby Units or the Normal Newborn Nurseries
