You will also have the opportunity to cross-cover at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Children, which is part of Orlando Health and only an hour drive away. Winnie Palmer Hospital houses the largest NICU in the world under one roof. - In this position, the right candidate will be expected to help create, lead and participate in NICU and newborn nursery team quality and evidence-based neonatal initiatives
- This Level-III unit has an average daily census of 8-10 and approximately 2,000 annual deliveries
- In addition to 24/7 NNP coverage, there is MFM and OB hospitalist on-site support as well
- Halifax Medical Center is involved in VON and Florida Perinatal Quality Collaborative Initiatives
