REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Doctorate in Counselor Education or related field from a CACREP accredited program (ABD considered).
- Experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor
- Experience supervising in a clinical setting including university, college or community counseling center
- Current licensure as an LPC-S in South Carolina or North Carolina or demonstrated eligibility for LPC-S in South or North Carolina or ability to obtain a LPC within one year.
- University teaching experience, in particular counseling-related courses.
- Strong working knowledge and understanding of established professional codes of ethics and best practices for clinical mental health
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience working with underrepresented students and students from at-risk backgrounds
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively with Winthrop students, employees, and alumni
- Ability to multitask and prioritize projects
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience facilitating group process and fostering collaborative decision making
