Truck Driver

Job Summary : Transports medical supplies and equipment with occasional guidance. Completes maintenance and reporting tasks as required. The department operates as team and the team uses team-based strategies such as open communication and transparency to solve issues and conflicts. The team member will operate the 26 ft truck, load and secure operating case carts, and complete other tasks as needed by management, F-endorsement required.
Department Summary: Vanderbilt University Medical Center's supply chain department is designed to enable physicians and clinicians to enhance quality outcomes and patient safety. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs daily vehicle inspections, maintains cleanliness of vehicle, fuels trucks, and logs trip counts.
- Provides safe transport of instruments and supplies.
- Reports any accidents, violations of policy, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences.
- Loads and unloads transported cargo.
