Overview The Adolescent IOP provides an integrated and evidence-based treatment process for adolescents who have a diagnosis of a mental illness and their caregivers. The treatment process focuses on understanding mental health disorders and how they impact self, family, and others. The program also helps adolescents and caregivers learn and practice coping strategies as part of education and treatment. Program criteria: Ages 13-18 and in high school (age 12 following a review of circumstances) Have a DSM-5 diagnosis of a mental illness Are not in imminent danger to self or others Are not in need of 24 hour monitoring or treatment Are medically stable Have the ability to understand the treatment conce
