Health Technician (Massage Therapy)
The Pain Management Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) will treat a wide range of conditions impacting the health and function of a diverse patient population at the VA Puget Sound, Seattle and Tacoma campus. Major Duties include but is not limited to: Responsible for providing individualized massage therapy treatment to Veterans to promote the prevention, remediation and rehabilitation of chronic physical and psychosocial dysfunction by utilizing standard patient evaluation procedures and formulating a treatment plan Incorporates various massage therapy and bodywork techniques taught within their professional education, including but not limited to, effleurage (stroking), petrissage (kneading), tapotement/percussion, friction, vibration, passive and acti
