This role will report to the Assistant Operations Director who is a licensed LPC.
In this role, you will:
- Run weekly individual and group therapy sessions, some with non-verbal clients
- Participate in vocational skills groups weekly
- Conduct annual risk assessments and write annual clinical summaries
- Develop and maintain WRAP plans and safety contracts
- Attend monthly clinical, administrative, and supervisory meetings
- Conduct monthly orientation training for new staff and refresher training for established staff
- Program development of coping skills groups
- Collaboration with external entities such as vocational programs, Psychiatrists, Physicians
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health New Jersey impacts the lives of about 500 children, adolescents and adults, and their families, across the state. Individuals with emotional, behavioral, and cognitive disabilities, including autism, are served through a broad spectrum of treatment settings, including community-based homes and supported apartments, vocational training programs, family care homes, and consulting services.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or other related clinical disciplines.
- Valid LCSW, LPC, LSW, LAC, LMFT, LCADC or Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
- One year of clinical work in a behavioral health setting.
- Experience providing in-community treatment preferred.
- Access to a computer and other office equipment (ie. fax or scanner) to submit required documentation and paperwork.
- Valid Driver's License
