The role you’ll contribute:
Responsible for provision and administration of specific therapy treatments only under the direct supervision of the staff Physical/Occupational Therapist. The Rehabilitation Aide as directed and supervised by the staff Therapist assists with restoration of patient functioning to prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability. Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. The Rehabilitation Aide participates in operational aspects of the department, maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities. Performs clerical duties, assists with posting of patient charges in the computer order entry system. Participates in all infection control, departmental equipment training, organizational safety and fire safety programs. Assist with preparation, maintenance and clean up of all treatment areas in the department according to established procedures.

- Responsible for assuring that licensed staff Physical/Occupational Therapist reviews and counter signs aide’s documentation.

- Participates in infection control, departmental equipment training and organizational safety and fire safety programs.

- Assist with preparation, maintenance and clean-up up all treatment areas in the department according to established procedures.

- Assembles patient charts for new evaluations.
|
- Schedules patient appointments in the absence of the Rehab Clerk.

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current CPR certification within one month of hire
- Valid Driver’s License
