The primary responsibility of the Schedule Coordinator/Therapy Technician is to coordinate therapy schedules to assure correct treatment frequency and assist in appropriate utilization of therapy staff resources across the continuum of care. This position also assists therapy personal with patient related care and non-patient related tasks.
- Ability to utilize applicable computer programs to assist with schedule coordination.
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple scheduling demands accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to assist the qualified therapist with patient related tasks including, but not limited to: patient transfers, modalities, functional training, hydrotherapy and therapeutic exercises.
- With consideration to age, employee utilizes the approved process to resolve biophysical, psychological, educational and environmental needs of patient/significant others when administering care.
- On the job training as a scheduler and physical therapy aide or other health care experience is desirable.
- Current CPR certification preferred.
- Computer skills in Word and Excel preferred.
