Under direction of the Clinical Director, the Hospice Clinical Manager is a professional nurse manager who supervises, plans, and organizes hospice outpatient and hospice home service delivery in accordance with department standards and policies. The Patient Care Supervisor is responsible and accountable for the administrative and clinical functions of care for hospice patients in various locations in the community.

• Knowledge of Medicare Conditions of Participation; Title 22 regulations of the State of California & Joint Commission standards
• Knowledge of third party, Medicare and Medi-Cal regulations governing home health and hospice

• Organizational and time management skills

Required:

• California Registered Nurse license
• BLS CPR card
• Driver’s license
• Valid auto insurance
• Two (2) years experience within the last five years in a hospice, home health agency, primary care clinic, or health facility

Preferred:

• BSN degree.
• Home Health or Hospice experience
• Minimum two years supervisory/management experience preferred
