PIH Health is a nonprofit, regional healthcare network that serves approximately 3 million residents in Los Angeles County, Orange County, and San Gabriel Valley region. The fully integrated network is comprised of PIH Health Hospital - Whittier, PIH Health Hospital - Downey and PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital, 27 outpatient medical locations, a multispecialty medical (physician) group, home healthcare services, and hospice care, as well as heart, cancer, women’s health, urgent care, and emergency services.
Responsible for evaluation, planning, directing and administering physical therapy modalities and procedures as prescribed by a licensed physician in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability. Coordinates delegates and supervises responsibilities assigned to supportive staff, PTA, PTLA, and Physical therapy Aide.
- Current California Physical Therapy License
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers sponsored by the American Heart Association
- LA City Fire card within 6 months of employment
- One year Transitional Care Unit/Skilled Nursing Unit experience, required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
