Overview
Atlantic Helath System is seeking a Full-time Behavioral Health Clinician in the I/P Psychiatric Department to work varied shifts including weekends. This position is located at Overlook Medical Center.
Responsibilities
- Seeking a social work clinician per diem to complete Psychosocial Assessments; develop, implement, monitor and revise Multi-Disciplinary Care Plans, ongoing family contact to provide treatment plan updates, gather collateral history, collaborate with outpatient providers and facilitate various psychoeducational groups with adult psychiatric patients.
- Discharge planning with each patient will be set up for a positive continuum of care, on a short term behavioral health inpatient unit.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
- Masters degree in Social Work or related field
QUALIFICATIONS:
- LSW required; LCSW preferred
- Previous behavioral health clinical experience preferred

- Attend department meetings and participate in projects
- Demonstrate effective communication skills
- Ensure patient/family expectations are exceeded
- Experience with adult and geriatric behavioral health preferred
