SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Nursing Clinical Informatics Coordinator are the translators between the clinical and technical worlds. They will establish business standards, advocate, lead optimization, adoption of technology for patient care delivery and amplify the voice of the end-user clinician. They will advocate for impactful innovation to keep patients safe. Through their contributions and guidance, workflows are improved for healthcare staff and best practices followed in the effective management of information structure and process of technology. Collaborate with the health system Information Services to ensure content and function of the technology is value added for patient care delivery. Identifies areas for optimization and activities for performance improvement. Develop road maps, design delivery methodology and implement programs for the clinical information system components to clinical users of the clinical information systems. Ensure education content will promote documentation of patient care information in accordance with all organizational guidelines and regulatory, cyber security requirements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree in Nursing
4-6 years clinical experience required.
Currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse by Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Certification in Nursing Informatics preferred
Master's Degree in Nursing preferred
