The Emory University School of Medicine/Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition is seeking an exceptional physician for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level with a primary interest in general gastroenterology.

The position includes both inpatient and outpatient care, as well as teaching colleagues, fellows, residents, and medical students. The candidate will be provided the opportunity to care for patients in general GI clinic and teach in fellows clinic. Applicants with experience and focus in IBD, EoE, and nutritional issues are particularly encouraged to apply. The Division is actively engaged in a wide variety of clinical/research programs including the following: aerodigestive, eosinophilic GI diseases, IBD, intestinal rehabilitation, weight/wellness, feeding, autism, fatty liver disease, cholestatic and genetic liver diseases, endoscopy/advanced endoscopy, pancreatic disorders, and liver transplant.

The Division includes 19 clinical faculty, 6 research PhDs, who cover a variety of academic interests, 10 with extramural funding. Program strengths include hepatology and IBD and members are engaged in national consortiums including the following: ICN, ChiLDReN, PUSH, NASH CRN, SPLIT, RISK, PROTECT, CAPTURE and multiple industry-supported trials. The Division is proud of an exceptional training program including 6 fellows and a transplant hepatology fellow.
