Our dedicated team of physicians and staff has helped St. Mary�s Medical Center achieve top quality awards through The Birthplace, our Level I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, Level III NICU and more. St. Mary�s Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation team provides therapy services to both pediatric and adult populations along the continuum of care, from acute care to inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient therapy.

Job Description:

Our outpatient therapy center houses both adult and pediatric physical, occupational and speech therapy. We have recently moved to a newly renovated building on the St. Mary�s Medical Center campus. We are looking for a highly passionate and skilled pediatric physical therapist to join our team. Our pediatric physical therapists evaluate and treat patients from birth to 17 years of age, who are affected by physical, learning, injury, developmental or congenital causes. Our mission is to provide high quality, comprehensive therapy, focusing on enhancing the health, behavior and functional performance of our patients through a multidisciplinary approach.

Job Duties:

• Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patients condition
• Designs and implements a plan of care with functional goals
• Educates patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress

Opportunities to train in other settings across the hospital campus (ie. acute care)

Education

Required: Bachelor�s Degree in Physical Therapy or Doctorate Physical Therapy based on state requirements.

Experience

Preferred: 1 year experience in Pediatric Outpatient Rehabilitation

Certifications

Required: Florida Physical Therapist License, American Heart Association BLS

Full Time Days, no weekends
