Overview:
US Oncology has an immediate opening for a
Medical Physicist to share coverage of a dynamic practice at the Chancellor Center for Oncology. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential . You will be part of a team of 2-3 additional Physicists and 3 Dosimetrists.
We are currently offering a $15,000 Sign-On Bonus! Chancellor Center for Oncology is APEx accredited and a certified member of the MD Anderson Cancer Network. The larger team includes 2 Physicians, 2 Nurse Practitioners, 8 Nurses, and 11 Therapists. The center houses 1 Varian iX, a TrueBeam, and a BRAVOS HDR with active SRT and HDR programs.
We seek a candidate holding a Master's or PhD in medical physics with board certification in therapeutic radiological physics. We will also consider exceptional Board Eligible candidates. All candidates under consideration will be expected to work towards becoming listed on our NRC license as authorized physicists for HDR.
We have a full array of QA systems and tools including IBA Blue and PTW Phantoms, SNC 1D Tank, IC Profiler, MapCheck, Daily QA3's, DoseLab, Mobius second check software, Mobius FX, and Portal Dosimetry for IMRT QA.
