The role you’ll contribute:
The Clinical Program Manager works directly with the Clinical Director and/or Department Chair or other designated faculty member(s) for clinical-related issues. The Clinical Program Manager monitors and conducts the cultivation, evaluation, and clinical placement processes for students at AHU in the Physician Assistant (PA) program. The Clinical Program Manager will oversee clinical year processes and ensure that each run smoothly and efficiently for clinical site leads, maintenance of all existing clinical sites, current and upcoming clinical year students, department chair, faculty, staff, and other stakeholders. Additionally, the Clinical Program Manager will collaborate with the Clinical Director in recruitment of clinical sites and other events/activities pertaining to the Clinical phase of PA student training.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Responsible for and monitors the efficient execution of the cultivation, evaluation, and clinical site processes for students, ensuring documents and affiliation agreements are in place and maintained for PA program clinical rotation sites
- Applies Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) standards as they relate to the clinical year
- Collaborate with the Clinical Director to develop and communicate with new clinical sites by means of letters, brochures, website postings, electronic mail, and other mediums.
- Develop and conduct information sessions (in-person and digital) about University and/or clinical year
- Manage the development and execution of communication plans to facilitate the cultivation and evaluation of clinical year processes
- Manage the communication process (email, text, phone) in the physician assistant student tracking system (PAST) for preceptor, student, and new site development; managing and implementing best practices for the frequency, accuracy, and tone of information shared
- Ensures documents and agreements are in place and maintained for clinical rotation sites
QualificationsThe expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communication, Higher Education or related field Experience in Post-Secondary Education
- One or more years of graduate level clinical education managerial experience
