Penn State Health is seeking a patient-focused Physical Therapist to join our collaborative team of professionals in a PRN role!
JOB SUMMARY:
Our amazing team of Physical Therapists play an integral role in leading our patients to positive outcomes by evaluating the physical therapy needs of assigned patients, formulating and implementing treatment programs, and monitoring patient progress.
Our Physical Therapists provide comprehensive goal-directed patient treatment to maximize patient outcomes while providing education to the patient, family and supportive personnel for in-hospital care and to assure safe discharge. Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury
Our team's goal is always to provide an exceptional patient experience while helping them achieve their goals. This position requires some weekend coverage to support patient needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in physical therapy from a CAPTE certified program and completion of clinical rotations required.
Must hold a PA license (or eligibility) in physical therapy.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
5 years of experience, demonstrated leadership and strong networking skills.
3-5 years if experience in acute care and orthopedic patient populations preferred
