Optum Health Care Decision Support is 24/7 inbound call center. We have full-time positions, all schedules include a minimum of 1 weekend day per week. Holidays are required on a rotating basis.
Training is mandatory and regardless of assigned schedule, will be 40 hours per week for 6 weeks, at regular daytime business hours, Monday - Friday.
If you are located in Dadeland, FL, you will have the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges.

Eight hour shifts, 5 days per week:
Schedule 1:
10:00am-6:30pm EST M, Tu, Th, and 12:30pm-9pm EST F and Sat
Schedule 2:
12:30pm - 9pm EST M, W, TH, F, Sat
Schedule 3:
3:30pm - 12am EST M, W, TH, F, Sa
Four Day/Ten Hour Shift
Schedule:
9:30am - 8pm EST M, TH, F, Sa
Primary Responsibilities:
- We are an inbound call center open 24/7 including holidays
- Assesses and triages immediate health concerns
- Identifies problems or gaps in care offering opportunity for intervention
- Coordinates services and referrals to health programs
- Provides health education and coaches consumers on treatment alternatives to assist them in best decision making
- Supports consumers in selection of best physician and facility to maximize access, quality, and to manage heath care cost
- Prepares individuals for physician visits
- Manages utilization through education
- Special projects, initiatives, and other job duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of Florida
- Ability to obtain compact license and/or additional state licensure as needed
- 3+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse (any clinical setting)
- Proficient level of experience with Microsoft Office applications, and strong technical aptitude
- Bilingual English/Spanish (testing required)
- Ability to work rotating holidays as needed and a minimum of 1 weekend day per week
- Ability to work Monday-Friday during daytime hours for the first 6 weeks for training
- Live within commutable distance to Dadeland, Florida office
- Designated work space and access to install secure high speed internet via cable/DSL in home
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with the geriatric population
- Triage experience
- Case management experience
- Customer service experience
- Experience in a telephonic role
- Highly organized, self-directed worker with an ability to function in high volume environment
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
