ChristianaCare is searching for a Senior Medical Physicist to provide high quality medical physics service to patients requiring radiation therapy. In addition, you will apply expertise in physics, radiotherapy instrumentation, computer applications and radiotherapy clinical fundamentals to maintain the precision standards of equipment used to plan and administer radiation treatment to cancer patients.The Senior Medical Physicist assures compliance with existing State, Federal, NRC and JCAHO regulations pertaining to the use of radiation within the department; and interacts with physician/radiotherapists to develop new treatment methods and with treatment planning staff as a consultant for current activities and new procedures development.
