Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center, a planned 341,000-square-foot acute care hospital, will enhance an already vibrant network of primary and specialty care providers across Lancaster County. The new hospital will feature 129 private inpatient beds, an emergency department, physician offices, various specialty inpatient services, an imaging lab and complete medical and surgical capabilities. Expanding this footprint will help ensure residents of these communities have access, quality and choice of care as close to home as possible.
Lancaster Medical Center will also create new clinical and research opportunities for learners and investigators at Penn State College of Medicine. SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Assesses patients' respiratory care, pulmonary diagnostic and rehab needs based on a variety of data. Plans, organizes, performs, and evaluates treatment modalities to meet those needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Associate degree Registered or Certified in Pulmonary Technology (RPFT, CPFT) or in Respiratory Therapy (CRT) by the National Board required, or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Current Pennsylvania License
