Description: While providing individual, group and family therapy, the Licensed Therapist participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning by developing a comprehensive clinical/psychosocial assessment to include the incorporation of clinically indicated, psychometrically sound assessment instruments that inform the treatment plan. Coaching and collaboration with other providers is encouraged and supported. Interventions that are evidenced-based will be used to guide treatment. As appropriate, we encourage our therapists to participate in marketing and other operational activities that will grow and advance our business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Counsel children, teens and young adults regarding psychological or emotional/behavioral problems, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, or family situations, using evaluative techniques, and develops and implements therapeutic treatment plan. Counseling sessions may include families as well.
· Establish a written Treatment Plan for each client that will outline therapeutic goals. Therapist must obtain client’s signature on treatment plans within thirty days of onset of treatment.
· Administer assessment measures to identify behavior, mood, and cognitions that measure symptoms, problems and strengths. Review results of assessment measures to evaluate client needs and strengths which are used to guide treatment.
· Responsible for keeping all assigned providers and the clinical supervisors apprised of any potential suicidal behavior/tendencies, any changes in clients’ status, alcohol/drug use, child abuse or neglect concerns or harmful tendencies towards others or themselves.
· Plan and administer evidenced-based therapeutic treatment, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, behavior modification, dialectal behavior therapy, trauma-focused CBT, and solution-focused therapy, to assist the client in achieving their treatment goals.
· Change method and degree of therapy when indicated by client response to treatment.
· Routinely discuss progress toward goals of Individual Treatment Plan with client and other supports as clinically indicated.
· Take an active role in developing and growing the HopeNation brand, including marketing, outreach and education.
Qualifications: Must be independently licensed and have an active independent level of licensure that is able to render mental health related services. Candidates must have a good understanding of clinical diagnoses and interventions to address mental health conditions. Experience working with children, teens and young adults is required.
The following qualifications are preferred, but not required:
Certification in EMDR or Cognitive Processing Therapy
Independently credentialed with one or more payors.
Experience with successfully delivering telemental health services
Other Skills and Abilities: The Licensed Therapist is required to maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Other Qualifications: Must be able to work flexible hours as needed.
