Job Summary: The Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for performing age and diagnosis specific assessment and treatment relevant to the patient's/resident's/clients individual needs. This assessment may include cognitive, sensory, neuromuscular, perceptual motor skills, psychosocial skills, functional daily living and work related skills, and home/work/community environments. Based on the assessment, the OT then develops a plan of care, initiates, performs and manages treatments as indicated, assesses response to treatment and assists in discharge planning.
