SUMMARY: Receives and processes all referrals to the home health department. Obtains both initial and ongoing insurance authorizations for home health visits in coordination with field staff. Responsible for coordinating assignment of new patients to admitting clinicians in accordance with the values and policies of the department and the hospital. Assists with scheduling for field staff. EXPERIENCE: Home health and/or insurance authorization experience preferred; medical office experience required; project management experience a plus.
