SALARY:
$69,200 - $89,900+ per year, the posted salary range represents the minimum to the midpoint within RVU's compensation plan. RVU's full compensation structure provides a minimum to a maximum range. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill, knowledge, experience, education, and credentials.

Primary Purpose
Under the direction of the Vice President of Enrollment Management and External Relations, facilitates and oversees the day to day activities of the RVU admissions process for the CO and UT locations, including the recruitment of students, ensuring the timely processing and completion of applications for admission, managing the interview process, and ensuring the timely processing of matriculation documents. Ensures a strong customer service focus within the department.
Essential Job Functions
Coordinates and manages the day to day activities involved with the recruitment, selection, and matriculation of prospective students to the Rocky Vista University for the colleges/programs located at the CO and UT sites.
Manages the processing of applications, candidate file review and selection process, the interview process and supervision of travel for recruiting purposes.
Represents Rocky Vista University on and off-campus; represent the institution on a national basis and oversees any off-campus events sponsored by the Rocky Vista University's Office of Admissions for recruitment purposes.
Supervises and oversees clerical admissions personnel, admissions counselors, and Assistant Directors of Admissions.
Oversees day-to-day functions of operation, organize and complete yearly reviews, vacation schedules, and disciplinary actions.
Provides yearly interviewer training for faculty, including new hires throughout the year. Updates the Admissions Interviewer's Guide annually.
Facilitates the student ambassador program as it relates to the Admissions process, special college programs and other needs.
Develops and maintains strong interdepartmental relationships.
Develops and maintains relationships and special initiatives with pre-health advisors and formulate special programs such as working with AHEC on the Creating Health Scholars Program.
Ensures and guarantees privacy, confidentiality with sensitive, controversial, and personal data. Ensure that all departmental and university policies and procedures are adhered to. Adhere to FERPA regulations.
Tracks and manages enrollment deposits and APS/Alternate List to ensure that enrollment does not exceed the number of seats available.
Tracks and records admissions cycle data.
Facilitates Admissions Committee meetings and track and communicates decision on candidates.
Serves on committees at the request of the President, Dean, Vice President or their designee. (LINC)
Other duties as assigned by the President, Dean or Vice President or their designee.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
1-3 years experience in a college admissions department.
Knowledge of best practices in enrollment management.
Preferred Qualifications
Post-baccalaureate degree.
1-3 years experience in a supervisory role.
Previous admissions experience at an accredited health profession college or medical school.
