Atlantic Health System is seeking a per-diem Radiation Therapist for the Radiation Oncology department at Chilton Medical Center. These are daytime hours between 8:00am to 4:00pm.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Deliver radiation treatment to patients under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist.
• Use appropriate immobilization devices to ensure accuracy of patient treatment.
• Review images for technical accurateness.
• Perform quality assurance of the linear accelerator.
• Document patient treatment in the medical record and modify patient appointments in Aria.
• Maintains patient and billing records and performs daily QA on the linear accelerator.

Minimum Education:

• Graduate of an approved Radiation Therapy program.

Minimum Experience:

• 1-3 years experience as a Radiation Therapist preferred.
• Will consider new graduate.
• Knowledge of Varian Trilogy, Aria and Epic preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:

• Must have a current NJ Radiation Therapy license and be ARRT certified.

Qualifications:

• Must have excellent communication skills.
