Position Summary: The PACE Physical Therapist administers to participants, according to physicians orders or IDT recommendations, various evaluations and therapeutic procedures and maintains a participant record in accordance with State and Federal Regulations. This is a professional-level position operating independently. Work situations are varied and require initiative, analysis, interpretation of information from a variety of sources, a service-oriented individual, and the use of discretion and good judgment in decision-making.
Minimum Requirements: Successful completion of a physical therapy program at a school of physical therapy approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association or both. If licensed or registered prior to 1966, meets the alternative qualifications cited in the Medicare Conditions of Participation, Section 405, 12 or (1) (2) (3) (4). Minimum of one (1) year of physical therapy experience required One year of experience working with frail or elderly population preferred
Education/Licenses/Certifications: Licensed in the State of Washington as a physical therapist. Experience in Medicare Certified Home Health preferred. Current CPR Current Washington State Drivers License; and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MHS Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state
