Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Summary:
The Intake Specialist receives all referrals coming into agency.
Responsibilities:
1.Receives all referrals coming into agency.
2.Researches all information needed to admit and verify payment coverage.
3.Manages activities that contribute to a comprehensive program of quality assessment and improvement for clinical services.
4.Develops programs to enhance organizational visibility and acts as a resource person for staff.
5.Other duties as required.
Other information:
Technical Expertise
1.Experience in home care management is required.
2.Experience working with all levels within an organization is preferred.
3.Experience in healthcare is preferred.
4.Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.
Education and Experience
1.Education: Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing [BSN] is required Master's degree [MSN] is preferred.
2.Certification: Registered Nurse licensure is required. BLS required.
3.Years of experience: 3-5 years preferred.
4.Years of experience supervising: None
