The Medical Technologist (Laboratory Manager) manages and supervises all aspects of the main medical center laboratory service, which operates 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, and the laboratory services provided by two CBOCs. The incumbent provides guidance and serves as an authority on laboratory medicine. Develops, implements, and measures the effectiveness of all laboratory services, utilizing quality control, quality assurance, and performance improvement programs.
