The Senior Social Worker (Emergency Department) is an Advanced Licensed SW who provides general psychosocial services in the ED and also serves as a Mental Health provider. Must be able to function with limited supervision and coordinate services for Veterans in the ED. These may include but are not limited to Advance Care Planning and facilitation of home care services. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. Education: Have a master's degree in social work (MSW) from a school of social work fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
