    The Hospitalist MD is a clinician responsible for providing care to patients who have been admitted to Inova hospitals, coordinating with other healthcare professionals, and ensuring that all patients receive the highest level of care.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Provides medical care to patients who have been admitted to the hospital
    • Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive coordinated care
    • Manages patient care plans and make recommendations for treatment
    • Initiates, monitors, and adjusts treatment plans
    • Keeps accurate medical records and documents patient care
    • Acts as a liaison between patients, families, and other healthcare providers
    • Stays current with the latest medical treatments and procedures
    • May perform additional duties as assigned
