The Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program is seeking a Board Certified OB/GYN Generalist for a full-time faculty position at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg in St. Petersburg, Florida. Experience in teaching and supervision of resident physicians and medical students is desirable. Surgical expertise in minimally invasive surgery/Robotics is also sought for this position. The OB/GYN Residency is a community-based program with generalist faculty and sub-specialists in the areas of maternal fetal medicine, gynecology-oncology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility.
Bayfront Health St. Petersburg's Baby Place offers a broad spectrum of obstetric and neonatal services. In partnership with Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital, we offer one of only 13 state approved Level III Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Centers (RPICC). The hospital is also a Level II adult trauma center and provides 24-hour anesthesiology services. We are also a Level 4 Epilepsy Center. The hospital's areas of clinical excellence include heart and vascular, surgical services, rehabilitation services, and neurosciences.
Responsibilities:
Act as faculty in our sixteen (16) resident OB/GYN residency program
Inpatient and outpatient case management
Labor and delivery coverage
Gynecological surgery
Participation in teaching activities with residents, interns, and medical students
Development, participation, and oversight in resident research activities
Involvement in hospital committees as well as specialty related committees
