Vaccination for COVID-19 and Influenza (flu) is mandatory for all MSK staff. Staff are considered fully vaccinated upon completion of a primary vaccination series for COVID-19 (i.e., one dose of a single dose vaccine or a final dose of a multi-dose vaccine series). Exceptions from the COVID-19 and Influenza (flu) vaccine requirements are permitted for those who request and receive an approved medical, religious, or fully remote exemption. Requests for exemption can take up to two weeks to review. Vaccination or an approved exemption is required to start work.

Job Description

MSK Commack, is a freestanding outpatient facility, located in Commack NY. This site allows us to offer the most advanced cancer care services closer to home for patients residing in New York's Suffolk & Nassau counties.

We are seeking a Per Diem MRI Technologist for our Radiology team.

You will:

• Perform a variety of M.R. imaging procedures that require independent judgment and ingenuity within an outpatient center that specializes in breast cancer imaging.

You have:

• Requires degree from a 2 yr AMA approved Radiology school or a 1 yr MRI technologist program.
• New York State license in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registration (MRI) (R), and MRI certification (MR).
• Multimodality/CT experience and certification a plus.

Hours:

• Varied shifts between 7am - 8pm, Saturdays; weekday evening hours possible for coverage. Work schedules can be fixed or flexible.
• Initial training may be required during the week (Days/hours to be determined).

Pay Range: $60.00-$65.00/hr.
