Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic and Nazareth Hospital have an excellent full-time opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to join our Orthopedic practice located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Previous Orthopedic experience preferred.

The selected NP will:

• Provide coordination, planning and implementation of health-related services that best meet the needs of patients and their families as a family nurse practitioner.
• Incorporate education plans into daily patient activity while integrating primary and secondary diagnosis.
• Assume accountability for managing the delivery of patient and act as a patient advocate and uphold patient's rights.
• Work in a collaborative team environment; consulting and referring to other Health Care professionals in our health system.
• At times asked to perform as a preceptor to NP students and PA's.

Requirements:

• Master's Degree required.
• 2-4 Years of experience required; 5-8 Years of experience preferred.
• Current PA Registered Nurse license required.
• PA N.P License required.
• National Certification as NP required.
• BLS required.

Additional requirements:

• Ability to perform diversified duties with time limitations with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to use problem solving, critical thinking and priority setting skills.
• Possess thorough knowledge of growth and development.
• Two (2) years clinical experience in a licensed health care facility.
