The social worker will provide service to the Veteran population enrolled at the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CA VHCS) Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program on the East Campus. Person hired will work within the SUDS program to assist in the delivery of evidence-based care for Veterans with Substance Use Disorders. Plays an integral member of the multidisciplinary team providing mental health services to patients in SUDS team. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met. .Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
