The Referral Coordinator Initiative (RCI) Registered Nurse is an integral member of the Referral Coordination Team (RCT) consisting of Nursing, Advanced Practice Practitioners, and Medical Support staff. The RN should have a broad clinical knowledge of medical and surgical specialties as the RN is responsible for performing clinical triage of the referral consult.
