ChrisitianaCare is looking for a Behavioral Health Therapist for Project Recovery in Wilmington, DE.

As a Behavioral Health Therapist, you would be leading 3-hour group sessions for the Intensive Outpatient treatment program as well as individual sessions through-out the week.

Principal duties and responsibilities:

• Conducts individual psychotherapy with assigned patients and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices.
• Conducts psychosocial evaluations to provide diagnostic impressions and treatment recommendations.
• Develops coordinated treatment plan in collaboration with other members of the treatment team.
• Reports and updates pertinent patient information to physician and treatment team in a timely manner.
• Identifies milieu deficits and assists in implementing appropriate measures to meet needs.
• Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices; reports to supervisor, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or LCSW preferred
• LMSW may be considered with requirements to obtain LCSW within 1-year and/or LPCMH for specific populations
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in mental health setting preferred
