Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse for the ECT unit at Morristown Medical Center to work varied hours, including every other weekend. Essential Function/Responsibilities:Nursing Process: Provides nursing care to ECT patients appropriately utilizing the nursing process. Performs a thorough and timely assessment of patients condition. Consistently uses therapeutic communication skills with the patient and family as appropriate. Plans care according to nursing standards. Evaluates effectiveness of care and revises plan as needed. Clearly documents discharge criteria-desired outcomes are met following treatment.
