Nemours is seeking a Social Worker to join our Nemours Children's Health team in Wilmington, DE.This position is part of the social work department and works to support children with acute behavioral health/ psychiatric needs when they present to Nemours. Most of the work is done in conjunction with the Psychiatry, Emergency Department and Inpatient medical teams. The focus is on risk assessment, safety planning and consideration of other levels of care. This social worker would assist with planning for a safe discharge with an appropriate follow up plan and would work closely with internal and community stakeholders as well as the child and family.Essential Functions
