Description of Work: This is professional work providing complex psychological services to the Circuit and County Court Judges, including independent diagnosis and evaluation of clients, and consultation on the client’s behalf. Work involves forensic in-jail responsibilities, which include providing professional clinical evaluations of mentally and emotionally unstable inmates incarcerated in Pinellas County jail to assess competency to stand trial.  As a result of the evaluation, recommendations may also be offered to the Court regarding alternative placement and aftercare for inmates with mental illness and/or developmental disability.  The Staff Psychologist may also serve and testify as an expert witness in Court.  Duties
