Nemours is seeking a Satellite Specialist/Medical Assistant (Neurology) PART-TIME, to join our team in Port St. Lucie, Florida.This position is responsible for: Greeting patients in accordance with Nemours Standards of Behavior. Perform registration, check-in/check-out functions for the clinic(s). Verify and update demographic, insurance, PCP and authorization/referral information when required at each encounter. Act as an important liaison between the patient and the physician. Coordinate patient flow, review charts for current information, and ensure that the appropriate paperwork/films accompany the patient to the rooms. Take vitals, pertinent history and enter EMR. Assist with Financial Counseling, HMO Authorizations, and address patient/family concerns/complaints
