The Licensed Mental Health Therapist (Psychologist, LCSW, LMFT, LPC) to join our team will conduct comprehensive assessments of clients, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices.
Additionally, the therapist will ensure the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct Comprehensive Assessments:
Perform thorough evaluations of clients to identify mental health issues, strengths, and areas for improvement.
Utilize standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews to gather necessary information.
2. Develop Individualized Treatment Plans:
Create personalized treatment plans based on assessment results and client needs.
Set achievable and measurable goals for therapy, considering client preferences and evidence-based practices.
Review and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure effectiveness and client progress.
3. Deliver Therapy Sessions:
Provide individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
Foster a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
Monitor client progress and adjust therapeutic interventions as needed.
4. Maintain Accurate Client Records:
Document client interactions, assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensure all records comply with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
Protect client confidentiality and adhere to all relevant privacy regulations.
5. Collaborate with Team Members:
Work collaboratively with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case consultations.
Provide consultation and support to colleagues as needed.
6. Engage in Continuing Education:
Stay current with developments in the field of mental health and evidence-based practices.
Attend workshops, conferences, and training sessions to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
Maintain licensure and fulfill all continuing education requirements.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related field.
Current licensure as a Psychologist, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent in the state of residence.
Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
