The Department of Educational Psychology and Learning Systems in the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences at Florida State University is seeking a non-tenure-line Specialized Teaching Faculty I with a specialization in clinical mental health counseling for the combined M.S. and Ed.S. Counselor Education program. The Counselor Education Program includes CACREP approved programs in Clinical Mental Health and Career Counseling and a CACREP aligned School Counseling program. teaching faculty. Responsibilities
The positions will involve the following: (a) graduate teaching a 4-4-2 load of CACREP core courses (e.g., group counseling, counseling theories, and multicultural counseling) as well as specialty courses in clinical mental health counseling or other related programs, (b) supervision of counseling students in practicum and internship settings, and (c) contributing to program/curriculum development and evaluation of the CACREP-accredited MS/EdS programs.
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in Counselor Education and meet CACREP core faculty eligibility requirements. Demonstrated ability to work collegially with members of the program and department is essential. Candidates should have an established Counselor Educator identity, demonstrated through involvement in professional associations and certification/licensure or license eligibility. Candidates knowledgeable about Counselor Education, especially clinical mental health counseling, CACREP-accreditation operating procedures, and familiar with national training issues in counselor education are encouraged to apply.

This is a twelve-month, non-tenure earning faculty position at the rank of Teaching Faculty I.
